# What Is Hallowmere?

Hallowmere is the name of the larger fictional world where my stories, characters, histories, myths, and dark fantasy lore take place.

It is not just one village, one kingdom, or one storyline. Hallowmere is the broader setting that contains many places, cultures, orders, beliefs, dangers, and mysteries. Some stories may focus on a single village, person, or event, but they all belong to the same larger world.

The first major story being developed within Hallowmere is currently known as Project: WickHaven. WickHaven is a village within Hallowmere, and much of the early story begins there. However, WickHaven is only one part of the world. Hallowmere extends far beyond it.

This Archive exists as a home for that world, and those who wish to uncover it. It is where the lore of Hallowmere is organized and preserved, including locations, characters, factions, religions, laws, creatures, supernatural forces, historical records, and story-related notes.

Some pages in this archive are written plainly to explain the world to readers. Other pages may be written more like in-world records, legends, warnings, or fragments from the people who live inside Hallowmere. Because of that, the Archive may sometimes feel like both a guide and an artifact from the world itself.

In short, Hallowmere is a fictional realm in the greater worlds from the mind of me, Louis Fredona, creator and author of Project: WickHaven and all included lore and mythology.
